Use as a vanilla extract substitute and add to all your favourite recipes! This exquisite Vanilla Powder from Gathering Place Trading is finely ground from whole beans which results in a full flavour and flecking with gourmet results.

Gathering Place's pure and fresh vanilla powder comes from the hand-pollinated and hand-harvested vanilla beans that grow at small, family farms in Madagascar. The vanilla is grown up the trunks of coconut trees, often alternating tree for tree with black pepper. Vanilla planifolia is the only orchid in the world that produces an edible fruit and blooms for only one day. 

Directions: Gathering Place Vanilla Powder can be used as a vanilla extract substitute and added to all your favourite recipes. Substitute 1/2 tsp of powder for 1 tsp of extract.

Gathering Place Trading is located on Cortes Island and imports ethically sourced spices from around the world. As a family run business themselves, Gathering Place works directly with family run farms and farmer co-ops. Their spices, seasonings and teas are incredibly fresh and high quality.
